The location is really close to the train station, which was an easy 15 minutes from the airport and pedestrian area. What a welcoming and accommodating staff!

Cozy hotel. Good location. Friendly staff.
Very noisy at night, because there are many pubs under the window.

the hotel was located really close to the cathedral, cologne and the waterfront, train station and the dome. the rooms were both big, modest, complete with a terrace, a nice view and extra coffee in the cupboard. the place had a family atmosphere.

The room had free fast WiFi, and the breakfast with a river view was fabulous.

Nice view and overlook of the river and grassy park. Also, close to downtown and open restaurants.
Very cramped spaces. Breakfast was marginal in selection and food preparation area was hard to use because it was so tiny.

The view from the room was fantastic.
The owner spoke no english, the room was not ready at the advertised time and the stair case up to the rooms was very tight and narrow. The curtains did not cover the windows completley and the beds were very uncomfortable. The wardrobes were not available for use, they were screwed shut. The bathroom was held together with masking tape and needed an extremely good clean. The shower also flooded the entire room, after use. You were also not able to close the bathroom door with the additional bed in the room. It was also quite a walk to all the major sights and was very noisy at night. Not a pleasant experience at all.

We loved the central location of this hotel. It's close to all the attractions and just a few minutes' walk from the city center. Plus, it's only a few meters from St. Peter's Gate, which allowed us to fully enjoy exploring the city walls both from inside and out.

The location is great and minutes from a train station. There's plenty of restaurants to choose from, like Haxenhaus zum Rheingarten, situated within 5 minutes walk or so.

It was a good small hotel in a shopping area, short walk to chocolate museum-6 minutes walk, city center, a lot of restaurants and shopping area and the airport. The overall atmosphere was family. Rewritten review: I had a great stay at this small hotel located in a convenient shopping area. It was close to the chocolate museum, the city center, various restaurants, and shopping areas, as well as the airport. The overall atmosphere was friendly and family-oriented.

Excellent room, very well located.
Lack of staff presence & help-yourself breakfast. No room service/ tidy of your room during the day.

This small building, with just 3 rooms, was central, being right on the Rhine, and was a bit "quirky" but pleasant enough for a night's stay. It was also a central stopover that was fairly cheap compared to other hotels closer to the cathedral / main station. One very useful point is that, if you need to check in after 20:00, you can pick up the key from a key box as long as you arrange it in advance.
Normal checking-in finishes after 20:00 so there's no one on site.
